From RFS 11am Sunday: Current Situation Light rain fell on the fire ground overnight and this morning, however warm and windy weather is expected to return this afternoon. Today’s temperatures are forecast to reach 29 degrees, winds will be from the west at 40km/h with higher gusts to 65km/h. On the fireground today there will be 250 firefighters from NSW RFS, FRNSW & NPWS, they will continue to patrol, mop up and consolidate containment lines. Specialist Remote Area Firefighting Teams (RAFT) from the NSW RFS and NPWS will be deployed into difficult to access area. Currently there is no threat to property and there is little fire activity across the fire ground. Advice Remain vigilant. Monitor conditions and take advice from firefighters on the ground.
