From Rev Arthur: Where did the month go? One minute we are standing on the threshold of a New Year, the next minute we are here saying goodbye to January. I believe that 2014 can be a good year for the church, not just ours, but the church in general. I admire the direction that beginning of the new Papacy seems to be taking. I am encouraged from what I read and hear about our young people and their determination to question rather than swallow whole traditional ways. They are not rejecting everything, but are prepared to question and voice their concerns and ideas. I am optimistic that most people will look at the world, especially their own corners of the world and realise that inequality and injustice has to go. I believe this will be led by our younger people. I take all of this from our first month of the New Year. I am energised for the coming month. We have something to build upon. What about you?
