From : STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL To : CUT COMMUNITY Subject : POST EVENT STATEMENT Date : 20 October 2014 Receive Humbled greetings brothers and sisters in academia, leaders of innovation both social and technological. The SRC wishes to convey a word of gratitude to the entire student mass who were part of the Pre-Exam Bash during the Weekend and those who had wished to make it but could not due to this or that reason. WE also wish to extend a word of thanks to all those campus and external artists and DJs who performed and made it a point that the event is successful. The event was convened with a widely understood and used mantra that “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”. Indeed students of The Central University of Technology, Free State Welkom campus cannot be dull as they commit themselves to an academic programme towards this final year’s examination. We are grateful to the security personnel that were here during the event, the cleaning service and maintenance unit that ensured that our campus is on this academic day friendly for usage for all university engagements, the management of the university that approved when the SRC proposed to have this activity. We want to meticulously applaud the students of this university for conducting themselves accordingly during the activity wherein the SRC only had to deal with minor cases that were reported of ill-discipline by some who wanted to detract the event.
