From Sea Shepherd Global Page: Sea Shepherd France - Officiel event in Paris, at the Cabaret Sauvage on Saturday 13th. About 1200 people gathered to support the organisation in its missions and listen to the Captain Paul Watson and Lamya Essemlali. A big thank you to the team of Sea Shepherd France who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Thank you also to all those who came from all over the country and even from the Netherlands, Germany, UK, Italy, Switzerland... A big thank you to Bonnie Li and Haylen and Band for the great live music!! And thank you to Algopack, a small French innovative company that donated 1000 Sea Shepherd cups made of 50% Seaweed (next generation of cups will be 100% seaweed) and gives hope for a viable alternative to plastic that is killing our oceans. For those who could not be there with us, a video will be online soon. Nothing can stop an idea of whose time has come Victor Hugo. PS. I was there floating around too. ;-)
