From The BIG 105 News Room RIVER OF LIGHT EVENT TO TAKE PLACE AT FT. Posted June 26, 2013 NORMANDEAU – JUNE 26 One day after being cancelled, the River of Light centennial celebration is back afloat. Organizers are working on a new version of the event, originally located at Bower Ponds, to take place this weekend at Fort Normandeau. Centennial Committee Chair Sheila Bannerman says their plan is to modify the barrels and have them on display on land near fort adjacent to the river.
