S. Citizen. An individual must reside in Alabama. An individual must be at least 18 years old. An individual cannot have been convicted of a felony. An individual cannot have been declared mentally incompetent by a court. An individual must have resided in Tuscaloosa County 30 days prior to the election. An individual must have resided in his/her city district 30 days prior to the election. An individual must register to vote no later than 10 days prior to the election. An individual can register to vote at the Tuscaloosa County Board of Registrars located at 2501 Seventh Street, Suite 200, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401; telephone 349-3870, extensions 415. An individual can only vote in the district of his/her residence. An exception: if an individual moves from one district to another district within 30 days next preceding the election, that individual has the right to vote in the district from which the individual moved if the individual would have been qualified to vote in such district but for the relocation.
