From: The Message Program What: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We invite the community to participate in the loading two of four containers of humanitarian aid destined for Guatemala, Central America. Date/Time: Sunday, June 8th 2014 Container #1 - 10:00am-12:30pm Lunch Break Container #2 - 1:00pm-3:30pm Location: Auto Value Warehouse 125 29th Avenue South St. Cloud, MN 56301 Warehouse is located behind American Heritage Bank – Turn in by M&H Appliance. Enter through the furthest Grey steel door – (Not the M&H Appliance doors). Details: The date has been set to load two 40 aid containers to be shipped to Guatemala. Volunteers are needed to help load the pre-packed aid in the containers. This is warehouse style work so volunteers are asked to wear work clothing and work shoes/boots. Volunteers must be in good physical condition i.e.: able to lift items. Pushing, pulling, and moving of packed items is required. Each container takes approximately 2 1/2 hours to load. The Message Program accepts monetary contributions to cover cargo collections, preparation, and transportation expenses. We accept material donations of medical, dental, EMS, equipment and supplies, as well as general aid such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, and hygiene items.
