The Word CANCER Just Hits You Head On Without WARNING Many Times And It Is NEVER Easy To Hear! The Colonoscopy On Tues Revealed A MASS In My Sweet Daddys Colon Which Is In The Splenic Flexure Of The Colon. Wed. Was A Day Of CT Scanning To View The Possible Spread Of Cancer And This Morning Quincy, Juanita, Jimmy and Darin Joined Daddy And I With THE NEWS...PRAYER MY FRIEND IS SO POWERFUL! It Is CANCER BUT Appears To Be In One Location!:) It May Possibly Be Attached To The Spleen And Would Be Removed On The Day Of Surgery As Well As The Lymph nodes In The Surrounding Area! Daddy Does Need Cardiac Clearance Which Is Scheduled For Next Week And Surgery Is Scheduled For 10/6/14. Dr. Scott Taber Seems To Be A Kind And knowledgeable Man. He Is Aware Of Daddys Medical History And Will Consider The High Risk That He Is! We Are So BLESSED To Have So Many PRAYING For Us And Continue To Do So! His Appt.Was At 9am And I Got Out Just In Time For PT! The STRESS Has Caused Muscle Pain And Headaches BUT PRAYING That Will Subside! PT Is Improving My Strength Slowly And Is Working On My Right Leg As Well With Stregthening In The Exercises That I Do! The Past 3 Days We Both Have Taken In Alot Of Walking Which I Could Not Have Done Before Surgery!:) Thank You All Again And Keep The PRAYERS Coming In The Coming Days!
