In 2010, I was determined to shoot A FATHER AND SON in 3-D because I wanted to convey the immense loneliness in the middle of the big city that the boys felt. Unfortunately, the practical cost of 3-D production is beyond the reasonable budget for A FATHER AND SON. I still feel, however, that our story would be enhanced by 3-D and allow the audience to more readily feel the emotion of being alone on the big streets.
