Belfast — The 20th annual Pancake 5-Kilometer Road Race, hosted and sponsored by the Belfast Area Rotary Club, was held on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Belfast Area High School. More than 50 runners turned out for the event, held under clear skies and with seasonable temperatures. The 3.1-mile course was flat, taking runners on a looping course through the city of Belfast, which ended back at BAHS. A pancake breakfast followed the race. Matthew Revitt of Montville was the first overall finisher with a time of 19 minutes and 41 seconds. Amy Flood of Belfast was the first female to cross the course, as she was sixth overall in 21:14.
