From a childs eyes on childhood cancer: Day 15 Video PLEASE SHARE AND BE AWARE!! Today Wes starts cycle 2 of humanized 3f8 antibody treatment. Wes is N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) but still needs to be on treatment due to the high chance of it returning. 3f8 is a way to teach the body to fight off cancer cells. It also causes a lot of pain and many times you will hear kids screaming, crying, yelling for it to stop. Wes takes dilaudid rescues to try to control it. He has this treatment every month for a week in NY. We are often asked why cant we do this at home. It is because this treatment is only offered in NYC. Prayers needed for this week to go smoothly.
