From a conversation with a Palestinian woman today who just immigrated to the U.S. She was talking about formerly living as a refugee in Libya. She said none of the negative propaganda that you hear about the sons of Col. Gaddafi was true. But her take on the Gaddafi family, or more specifically Col. Gaddafi wasnt all positive. While she loved all the freebies and accommodation of Col. Gaddafi that she received initially, as Palestinian refugees, she and her family and friends were annoyed at the end of his rule, for bringing over all the foreign workers (read Africans) who were paid so much to work. Mmhmm. Shit like this doesnt even disappoint me anymore. Never does a good deed go unpunished. And that region has to get it together or better yet, the U.S. should have absolutely nothing to do with it and all that drama can stay there.
