From a momma: I am desperately after some advice. My little boy - TopicsExpress

From a momma: I am desperately after some advice. My little boy now 10 months has had an NG tube since 6 weeks old due to severe aspiration of fluids. It was suggested that he had laryngomalacia but after two bronchoscopys nothing has been found. He still has sever aspiration of fluids but is ok on solids. His ENT consultant suggests that it is neurological but he has no other development delays . He has been referred to another hospital for a second opinion but there are talks about him having a PEG placed. Has anyone been in a similar situation? As any other problems surfaced (as suggested may be the case) or have they outgrown it? He has problems with his tonsils, severe reflux and is a very noisy sleeper.
