From a recent visitor: I wanted to write to express appreciation for the hard work of the staff in your department. My family and I travelled to Spokane for a visit and did some shopping there. On our way back to Calgary, Alberta we were in a store for approximately 20 minutes. On returning to our vehicle, we found that it had been broken into and our valuables (new clothes and luggage) had been stolen. We immediately sought assistance from store personnel and they assisted us in contacting the Spokane Police department. The next evening, I received a call from Corporal Blessing of the SPD. She informed me that they may have apprehended some suspects and recovered some of the stolen merchandise. She was also very helpful in providing contact information and answering my questions. I would like to express my appreciation for the prompt response of the police in your city and for the excellent work you do.
