From bitter to sweetness! Scripture: John 2:10 And he said to him,Every man at the beginning brings good wine and when everyone is drunk they bring worse wine but you have kept the best for the last. Word: I wish to speak to somebody today. A recent engagement either a relationship or work related is tasting bitter right from the start and you are wondering what to do. Reminds me of the children of Israel. They are very thirsty and when they find water at Marah it turns out that it is bitter. What do you do in such a case? Why do God allow such a case to happen? Sometimes God create bitterness in the early stages of something so that you know how to rely on Him. If things just flow smoothly from the beginning you may underestimate His importance in your life. You need to invite him to intervene in your life so that you learn to rely on Him not on your effort. In the case of the bitter water at Marah, He intervened and it turned sweet. Instead of giving up on your situation because it is bitter go down on your knees and invite God to intervene. He will answer and turn your situation to sweetness. Dont give up on your marriage because it is boring. Invite God to spice it up. Dont give up on your job because it is not paying well. Invite God to intervene.Dont give up on your efforts in anything. The going may look difficulty but for God the end is better than the beginning. I prefer things that start sour and end up sweet. I have seen many people getting trapped by the devil by being offered sweetness in the beginning which latter turns bitter in the end. Just imagine being offered a sweet drink. You enjoy it but later you fall sick. On investigating you realise its poison that you have been offered diguised as a sweet drink. Be worry of things that looks rosy from the beginning. You have to nurture your relationships from the beginning and it takes a lot of energy and effort.Dont expect it to be rosy from the beginning. Life is all about delayed gratification. There is time to plant and time to harvest. We need to look to Jesus. He is the only one who can turn water to good wine. He will turn your situation for the better. Invite Him today. People will one day marvel. We never expected this relationship to go far. This affair was so bitter from the beggining but look how loving this couple is now today. God is great!. We never expected him to go this far but look how successful he is today, glory to God! For you the best is reserved for the last!
