Dear Business’s, E1 Entertainment is producing a new Movie-of-the-Week for television, entitled “Rocky Road”. It is a family-oriented romantic-comedy, about a successful young businessman who loses everything in the big city, then returns to his hometown,where he helps his father to save the family Ice Cream business, and rekindles a romance with his childhood sweetheart. We will be filming scenes for this production on Friday, September 13th, 2013. In the morning (7:30ish) we start our day in front of the bus stop on Albert Street and Third Street. We will then be filming some scenes of an actor riding his bicycle north on Third Street towards King Street. In the afternoon we will be filming various scenes on King Street in the vicinity of 37 King Street. (Impresario Artisan Market) We will end our day in filming in the alley just to the East of 37 King Street. In order for these scenes to take place we have asked the local BIA for permission to remove some of the Canadian flags mounted above the stores along King Street as the film is set in small town America. We would remove the flags for the scenes and then replace the flags immediately after we have finished the scene. Filming will take place from approx. 7:30 am until approx. 10 pm on this day. We are a very small Canadian production, with a cast and crew of approx. 25 people. We have no large trucks (just 5 cube-trucks and one 5-ton truck), and minimal lighting equipment. We are nowhere near the size or scale of a feature-film production. These vehicles will park in the parking lot off of Albert Street and South of King Street.
