From livetraffic Roads in the Sydney CBD are now closed for todays City2Surf. These road closures include parts of College Street, Macquarie Street, Park Street, William Street, Prince Albert Road and St James Road. More roads between the city and the Eastern Suburbs, including New South Head Road between Edgecliff and Rose Bay, Old South Head Road and Military Road in Vaucluse and Campbell Parade in Bondi, will close at 7am. Motorists who need to travel between the CBD and Eastern Suburbs are advised to use Oxford Street, Syd Einfeld Drive and Bondi Road but expect significant delays. Anyone taking part in the race is advised to catch public transport as travel is included in the race entry fee. To get runners to the starting line on time, there will be extra buses on major corridors into the CBD as well as two additional Sydney Ferries service will leave Manly at 6.15 and 6.50. Buses are also replacing trains on parts of the T3 Bankstown (Liverpool and bankstown) as well as the T2 South Line between (Glenfield and Granville).
