From my Fox Radio commentary: This years Rose Parade may not be all that family-friendly.The LA Times reports that two gay men will tie the knot during the parade on a float sponsored by an AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Thousands of people are protesting on Facebook. They say the rose parade is no place for a wedding - gay or straight. Something similar happened during the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. The cast of the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots did a number dressed in drag - complete with thigh high stiletto heels. Try explaining that to a three year old. I dont get it. Why cant we just have a parade for the sake of having a parade? Why does everything have to be about making a political statement? Its the Rose Parade for crying out loud. Let the kids ogle the daffodils - not two grown men making out on top of a wedding cake.
