From my friend Jason Moore Since its October, which marks 100 years since Charles Russells 1914 date, I have been doing some research. I was looking back over the WT study articles from January 2014, which declare 100 years of Kingdom rule! w14 1/15 pp. 12-16. In paragraph 2, I noticed that the WT makes the claim that Jehovah became king in 1914 and uses Zechariah 14:9 as a proof text. Then it goes on to say that “Jehovah’s becoming King is not the same as the coming of God’s Kingdom for which Jesus taught us to pray.” But, in context the 14th chapter of Zechariah refers to Jehovah God coming in company with all the holy ones and it is clearly referring to the event known as the second coming, yet the WT will admit that Christs second coming has not occurred yet. So it is clear from the scriptures that Zech. 14 is speaking of these things happening at the same time, the same event, i.e. Jehovah/Jesus becoming King and the second coming accompanied by all the Holy Ones (Saints and/or Angels). “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.
