From my occasional series songs that are not jazz standards but should be... One of the most beautiful pop songs I ever had the pleasure of arranging for solo guitar, Help Me by Joni Mitchell. Its hard to imagine there was a time when songs like this were at the top of the charts... The band in the original recording, as I understand it, was Tom Scott and the LA Express, which included Larry Carlton. In the live clip of this song I found on YT, I seem to think it is Robben Ford on guitar.
