From my sister in Christ, Aubreys mom: Day 13 Pediatric Trauma....Jim and I feel as though the nurses are our roommates. We cant thank the staff here enough for their steadfast dedication and attention to Aubrey. There are quite a few issues I want to share and ask prayers for. First, Aubreys right pupil is totally dilated, or blown out as the Dr. put it. The left is fine. We need for that pupil to correct and eyesight not be permanently damaged. Secondly, the fever and pneumonia needs to END. Thirdly, there is air in Aubs neck and lungs making him look buf, but not in a good way. Lastly, his sodium count went up again and that needs to be come back down. I think that covers it for now. We are trying not to get discouraged by the setbacks but focus on the positive. There have been positives, like some movement with face, eyes and mouth. He opened his mouth for the nurse! So, we will keep on keepin on, or prayin on I should say.
