From our mailbox today. Please SHARE: I have known Bill Walker for 45 years, and can attest that he is genuine to the core, extremely hard working, and is a man of his word. Other than my father, I have never known a person so passionate about our state! Bill is willing to speak his mind, be open to new ideas, and be completely focused on a vision to once again unite Alaska, and show that our state is truly The Great Land that it was meant to be. Bill has a heart filled with compassion, and a mind filled with enthusiasm, not only for the Alaskan people, but for our economy, our environment, and our heritage! I truly believe Bill and Byron will be our beacon of light, and will represent each of us in a way that makes us proud. The high road is often a road less traveled, however I feel Bill and his team will lead with example, mark a swift path of their own, show us they can PAVE that road with determination, leadership, and conviction, and set and meet goals that are timely and accurate. Time has been wasted far too long, and it is not until the 11th hour, do we hear of promises and commitments. Isnt it time for Alaskans to search and seek out fresh and non-biased representation, be willing to research the best candidate for office and vote with an open mind, allow entry into unmarked territories, and allow failed practices and as usual politics to be set aside? It is about the strength of OUR state, NOT the party that may best hold it together by a thread! Dont elect a status quo governor that is a career politician, but vote for change, and elect a LEADER that will put ALASKA FIRST, re-invigorate our state, and return Alaska to the greatest state in our nation !! --Patricia Caples
