From practical & hard personal experience, it is not ordinary for non-white people to be hired by white people unless there is no choice. There has to be external pressure that compels certain people to change their preferences. For instance, we world class sound men have a very hard time working at white owned venues in certain parts of the world. The only time we get hired is when the establishment is falling apart and there are no white patrons to support the business... Only when the owners decide to give the place a nose dive and let it turn into some ghetto! However, on a normal occasion and if things are are going well, we are generally NEVER welcome.
