Banono mayo wandi! Epashili pakuleka! I d like to say something on the People who are rejoicing & excited about Batatas failing health. They belive if (God forbid) their evil desire is granted, it d advantage their political ambitions & dreams. Every well meaning Zambian should not celebrate the illness of a serving president coz the consequences are grave for the nation. 1. The 2008 experience we should know that a state funeral does not come cheaply! Huge sums of money that could be used to buy medicines in our hospitals & other developmental projects would be diverted. Compare LPMs & FTJs funerals in term of expenses and impact on the nation. FTJs didnt gobble as much! Zambia has had 3 genral election in the last 8 (2006; 2008; 2011). These elections dont come cheaply! This would adversely impact our already limping economy! Mayo wandi ulupiya lwaku shita imiti mufipatala lonse gha ku ma campaign!!! Who wants that??? We need political stability for us to enjoy a stable economy! When there are elections in the nation most of the normal activities stall. TV is all about campaigns! Ifyongo mimisebo, productivity at work is low, investor confidence zero, zero tourists, etc. The mood is just something else. Instead iyakuya kumabala abantu kulaya fye ku ma rally... recipe for icipowe ne nsala mu calo!!! Disaster! That is why we have failed to make meaningful progress in our Economy coz in the last 8 years we have been subjected to this madness every 2years. Like I said every well meaning Zambian should cry to God in prayer for Batata to recover. Tuka bomba lisa? When are we going to develop if we will be going for general elections every 24months??? I think 2016 isnt too far for those who are power hungry! There is an African adage that says a monkey does not laugh at a burning forest. You cant rejoice when your home is on fire....
