From the Cat Country newsroom: bit.ly/1onhiq5 The Clean The Mill group in Pictou County will be presenting independent test results from Boat Harbour soil samples to the Department of Environment in Granton this morning. The samples were collected in June under the supervision of JIF Consulting’s Ian Fraser, and analyzed at Maxxam Environmental Laboratory in Bedford. An emailed release from Clean The Mills Dave Gunning says heavy metals were found in the soil samples and clearly indicate contamination.
