From the Ionia County Road Commission: NOTICE – Ellison Road between Johnson and Chickering Roads is now OPEN! This portion of road was closed last year when the culvert structure was compromised during spring flooding. The road surface in the construction area is currently gravel/crushed concrete so proceed with caution. The area will be repaved sometime this summer. Thank you for your patience while the proper repairs were made.
