From the January 25, 1915 Evening Marshalltown Times-Republican. This is the first of three articles. Two women and two men were arrested Sunday afternoon about 5 oclock by Officer Starn, charged with disorderly conduct. The women were Mrs. Edith Dann and Mrs. Myrtle Maynard, and the two men gave the names of Fred Donahue and H. J. Warren. It is alleged the quartet was found In an upstairs room in East Main street, between Second and Third avenues. The womens husbands, Charles Maynard and J. G. Dann, caused the arrest. Settlement reached before the case came to in Justice Peeks court, and the defendants were discharged.
