From the MOAH PRESS RELEASE: MOAH and the BLVD Cinemas are proud to partner on the California premier of MANA, a film by Los Angeles-based photographer and film maker Eric Minh Swenson and produced by curator Andi Campognone together with artist Alex Couwenberg. MANA documents 10 southern California artists who share the skill and affinity of surfing and how their interactions with the dynamics of the ocean inform their artwork. The artists of the film MANA are Craig Skibs Barker, Casper Brindle, Ben Brough, Alex Couwenberg, Ned Evans, Steve Fuchs, Eric Johnson, David Lloyd, Ken Pagliaro, Alex Weinstein are showcased in the South Gallery. MOAHs FREE Open Reception Summer Solstice event will feature full day entertainment including three live bands, a car show, face painter and balloon twist artists among other family friendly activities. The Lancaster Museum of Art & History (MOAH) is located at 665 W. Lancaster BLVD in Lancaster, CA. Regular Museum hours are 11am-6pm Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours until 8pm on Thursday.
