From the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office: On 6-22-14 at 0650 hrs a black 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound on Wabash Rd just north of SR 29. The truck drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. The truck came to rest in a field. Occupants of the pickup truck were driver Ledgen C Parker, age 18, and passenger, Clay M Parker, age 16, both of 5528 Fleetfoot Rd. Both were transported by Celina Squads to Mercer Health where they were being treated for their injuries. Also assisting on scene was Southwest Mercer Fire Department.
