American culture is one of deliberate impatience. Why is that, you might ask? Well, there is a myth that impatience equals expeditiousness. Many people are creatively and fashionably impatient because they think it makes them look like a mover and shaker and shee-it. Dont believe me? Get yourself up to New York City, and see how many people are fashionably in a hurry, no matter how early they leave for work. It is gonna be hurry hurry hurry, any time of day. No go to any small town or rural area. It is the exact opposite. If you are used to being in a higher gear, these places are gonna drive you effing crazy! You will be right up on their bumpers in traffic saying Cmon ya shiddazz slowpoke puzzydik! Lets go while were young!
