Water services manager of field services Chris Huston said the frost stretched down more than two metres, taking in the storm system. “Those catch basin leads, they don’t have anything flowing through them when it’s dry like this, so they’re frozen. When water runs over them it could form ice and, especially at night, that freezes up and can actually clog those catch basins all over.” #abwater #abflood #yyc
