From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to share the post I sent them about my company offering shipping. It has been nice catching up with some old friends even if it was just a quick hello. Appalachia Cookie Company has been open for business only a year and yet we have grown tremendously, but not without the help and support of my friends, family and our community. While the journey has been fraught with adversity, I have grown so much professionally and personally. I am truly excited to see what happens now, as we turn this new leaf and move towards a national focus. Yesterday we shipped out our first packages. Some to North Carolina and Virginia, some to Florida and Minnesota and some as far as California and Hawaii. I hope that if you havent shared our post you will go to our company page and share it and if you havent told your friends and family you will. All of this could not have been accomplished without the unwavering support, long hours and late night whiskey talks with Steve Holloman. Thanks for everything, man. Lets go show America what cookies are supposed to taste like. A special thanks to Grace Neely as well. Though your position with the company is new, youve been with us since the very early days before we even had a name (I still have the list of brainstorming ideas). I cant wait to see the impact your position has on our community. And thank you so much to my family Bobby, Vivian Cleghorn, Harry Cleghorn for all you have done and thank you to my friends Stephan Floyd, Bald Guy Brew Coffee Roasting Company, Mary Ann Pruter, Ethan Rector Ceiairra Baker, Jeremy York, Russell Snyder, Chad Conroy, James Crittenden, Mary Frances FitzPatrick, Kevin Storm, Zack Joseph, Corey Adams, Lucy Firebaugh, Jeff Narus, John Luke Sapp, Luke Combs, Burton Davis III... You guys have all played a crucial role in getting here. Thank you SO much for everything. And to my amazing staff that consistently goes above and beyond and sometimes, on very rare occasions, despise me: Derek Thomas Petty, Katie Cagle, EC Fajardo and Justine Stocks. You guys are the best. If I forgot anyone Im sorry, it isnt because I dont love you it is because Steve is telling me to quit playing on Facebook and come help him ship cookies!
