From the desk of Peter and Matt Demitraszek: The remainder of the Sowle 60 has been rescheduled for September 27 at 7pm and will be resumed at lap 15. The remainder will also be green flag laps. The modified race will pay $4007.11, plus lap money that has been sponsored by fans and businesses and a guaranteed starting spot in the Short Track Nationals at Five Mile Point Speedway compliments of Brett Deyo. The rained out 602 sportsman feature will also be run that night paying $850.00 to win thanks to Sowle Trailer Repair and Mike Sowle. Now for the best part of September 27: we will be adding another 35 lap modified feature paying $3,711.00 to the winner, again thanks to Sowle Trailer Repair and a 25 lap 602 sportsman feature. Lightning cruisers will also be paying $150.00 to the winner( 15 or more cars) for a 20 lap feature. General admission to the stands $10.00 , $5.00 for students, 10 and under free. Pit entry for the event will be $25.00 no license required. We are sorry for the delay in posting but we had to confirm dates with drivers as some of the modified guys are really busy this time of year. We are looking forward to seeing you all back on September 27th. Many have been asking about our banquet and yes we are having one. The date is December 14th, at 6pm at the Elks Lodge located at 8- 4th Ave. in Amsterdam, New York 12010. Tickets will be available at the track by September 20th.
