From the group The Collaborative Center Community/#CCC where I wrote the following: This thread goes way too deep for me, but Im sharing the original post with WE Are The Market Force because many of my members do think deeply and I personally have a problem with the term economic equality which many use to describe a goal. If they really mean equality, then Im not to enthused about that. To me, equality would result in mediocrity and mediocrity would suppress ambition and innovation. It would remove the challenge to excel. Which is exactly the reaction many have when a person says they want economic equality. And so, I urge people to talk about economic justice and fairness. Some may say its semantics; I say its saying what you mean. Nevertheless, its hard to get away from the buzz words when they have been adopted by the crowd as meaning something else. And so, I suppose I should use the words that mean what my audience thinks they mean ... not what they mean to me? Communication is so hard!
