From the moment I tried to book this meal cart (cant call it a restaurant) I knew there would be trouble....there was definately a communication barrier from first contact. I had the misfortune to purchase a 3 course meal voucher which stated that you had a choice of entree, main, dessert & a glass of wine but when we tried to order there were so many restrictions it was ridiculous. I decided to order salt & pepper calamari & asked if I could just pay the extra....unfortunately I needed an Interpretor to express this & after being served a rubber like substance covered in batter (couldve retreaded the tires with it) I regretted my decision. When my friends main was served from the opposite end of the table reaching accross the other guests one of the red wines was knocked over covering both my friend & I before shattering on the cement slabs they called seats. My friend began to help clean up when the waitress handed me the bucket so I could pick up the broken glass. I stood up & pointed to the glass (verbal communication at this point was usless) & she finally got the idea that it was her responsibility. Not once did they offer to move us or replace the wine that they spilt. I had to point out that there was a puddle of wine & broken glass under the table which was only understood after I picked up my meal & moved to another table pointing at the glass saying Dangerous, clean it up. Another guest & I decided that the dessert was too much trouble as only 3 unappetising choices were available....one guest decided to order & I longed for that bucket...broken glass & all! To top off a totally disgusting experience they then tried to charge my friend (whose white outfit was covered in red wine) for the broken glass!!!!! She then decided to charge them for her cleaning services & we all walked out in disguist. This place should be closed down..its filthy & Im sure it defies Australian health & safety codes....in fact I think they were kicked out of Thailand!
