From the red labour page: This Tuesday, Sept 3rd, there is a massively important meeting at Conway Hall in London. Important because it is about the future of the Labour Party. At stake is the question of whether there will be a party, come the next election, which even aspires to represent organised labour. The changes mooted by Ed Miliband, the shift from collective affiliation to individual membership for trade unionists, must be challenged - by trade unions and party members. If the last few days has taught us anything, it is that members voices do matter. Now is the time to make them heard in the party and get ourselves organised to save the trade union link. Join Owen Jones, Keith Ewing, MarshaJane Thompson, Maria Exall, Roger McKenzie and Manuel Cortes on Tuesday at 7pm to defend the link.
