From the shelter: This is a little information on what we do/and or is required to pull from us as a rescue..Our rescue coordinator Ann Chalker is our rescue/volunteer coordinator. A rescue is a non-profit business 2. all animals must be Vetted (spayed/neutered, Rabies shot) before being placed. 3. You must have an adoption contract stating new owner will take the animal back if no longer wanted by owner. 4. you must have a letter of recommendation by at least one vet. if you dont have at least these 4 things you need to just adopt the animal. I will also call your Department of Agriculture of local animal control to see if there are complaints about you. and I will check your vet references. If you have any questions or concerns about what a rescue is or needing further advice please call Ann at the shelter. If you are a new rescue and not approved with us, please call, get approval so pulling will be much easier when you see a animal you are willing to rescue..910-321-6852
