From the sixth and final show filmed for TTWII, 13 August Dinner Show. It seems this show was used to film songs that the director wanted but had not yet filmed, such as recent hits or recordings. It mystifies me therefore why director Denis Sanders discarded them all especially when they are such gems. Unfortunately only a few songs were actually filmed from this show. This one is without doubt an absolute gem and its two for the price of one!! Thank goodness for The Lost Performances as this is where we first saw this video!! This a lesson in how to seamlessly lead two hits from the same legendary recording session, and from the same composer (Mac Davis), together with consumate ease as only Elvis could!
