From the wall: Hello, I arrive to the island in two weeks and have been stressing about finding work. I have been working stateside as a surgical technician at an orthopedic hospital for several years and absolutely love it. I have kept my national certification up to date. Has anyone had any luck getting a job at the U.S. Naval Hospital of Okinawa? Ive been to their site and dont see much listed under open positions. I would love to keep scrubbing but anything in the medical field would be fine. If anyone has any advice or pointers, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
