From this weeks Indiana Youth Institute E-mail: SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: Technical Assistance for Indiana Mentoring Programs National Mentoring Resource CenterMentoring programs may now apply for no-cost, specialized, local technical assistance through the National Mentoring Resource Center and the Indiana Youth Institute. The free consultation will be provided by IYI consultants with special expertise in leading mentoring programs that meet the Indiana Quality Mentoring Standards. IYI consultants will provide on-site assistance at your program site. Examples of potential technical assistance include: development or revision of training materials; guidance and consultation on mentor recruitment plans and strategies; analysis of mentor screening processes; and analysis of match support processes and consultation on strategies for improvement. Apply on the National Mentoring Resource Center site —your request will be forwarded to the Indiana Youth Institute. We will follow up with you to assign a consultant and plan the activities specifically for your organization.
