From todays walk #2. These showed up on my route yesterday. What tickles me is that this pond is for drainage at a construction site at the far end of the gravel parking area for construction workers [some expansion of Memorial Hospital behind Northgate]. I took the camera today hoping theyd be there again, and this pair seems perfectly happy. The only downside is that both were preening with manic energy; out of about ten shots, this is the only one where I got the more decorous of the two in profile!
