From where does the mind come? A powerful question Swamiji used to start satsang today. Have you ever contemplated this? This is what the purpose of Guru is, to lead the students’ attention to the Source of consciousness and existence Itself. Just as the 7 Keys program directs participants to what is causing the distractions and disorders that plague a human being to help them remove the interference and regain focus and order, the purpose of a guru is to take those wanting to go to another level of understanding and ability to directly connect to the essential nature of Life and Truth Itself that is our Source. This is beyond the scope of the foundational 7 Keys program but is the next step once it is complete for those seeking more than mere worldly success. My approach is first gaining personal life mastery so you have the tools and strategies necessary for living an empowered existence. The 108 tools and strategies the 7 Keys program teaches trains a person to enhance their level of inner peace, focus, communication, and satisfying relationships while reducing levels of stress and improving inner strength and confidence. Later in todays satsang we were again reminded how our freedom of when we are a little child who is open and free has our knowledge covered by the worldly conditioning and gets lost in the maze of trying to live up to the standards and rules established by the elders that are in charge. Yet knowing this is not enough! It is only when in the presence of someone who knows the Higher Truth and has the ability to take you beyond these limitations that you can leave the worldly shackles behind and learn to abide in the ever-present awareness of freedom and joy. Perhaps as you read this it sounds very abstract and esoteric, if so I surely understand. But maybe if you consider it this way it will make more sense. What if you could live your life each day with the sense of care free playfulness you experienced as a young child but still could live powerfully in the world happily handling your daily functions of education, work and/or family responsibilities? It is my intention in our upcoming training weekend beginning Oct 24 to not only share the tools and effective knowledge of the 7 Keys but begin to transmit the tools and strategies of my guru who has graciously shared them with me during this most amazing trip. As the saying goes, the teacher will appear when the student is ready. Are you ready?
