From your clothes, to your chocolate, to your phone. Who thought that our enjoyment would come at the expense of human exploitation? Maybe poverty would actually affect us if we realised we are part of the reason it exists. The majority of stuff we buy has come to us at a greater cost than we realise. At lost limbs, lost dignity, family, homes, and lost lives. A girl in Bangladesh sewing your forever new cardigan worked six days of long hours for over a month to get the money you would have paid for it. Both of us wanting to make a conscious effort to invest in brands that support fair trade instead of encourage jobs that cause exploitation. We fully encourage everybody to watch this!
