Fruit of the Spirit.... Love, Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and SELF CONTROL. . Lets talk about Self Control. When One does not have Self Control they are living out the passions of their flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and mind. They are not Rulers over their own life, but rather... their passion is..and/or sin. In order to let God Rule over your life you have to have the knowledge of his love and let his power take place. Even though we are called to, FLEE from sin, (Genesis 39:12, John 10:5, ect) I dont think it should be confused with Avoidance.>>> Pushing your sin under the rug and ignoring its even their within YOU
