Frum Ms. Eileen Banks These last few days I was involved behind the scenes with my rescue friends as they addressed an horrific hoarding situation in CT. Some cats were taken by other sources before the rescuers got to the house. 23 were trapped and taken out on Sunday. All those have now been placed with various rescues as of today. The bills to this point have been staggering in initial vet care and supplies. Individuals plunked down their own credit cards and just did what had to be done. So a fund raiser has been put together with the funds going to one of the rescues that has a number of the cats. They will pay the assorted bills that came with this endeavor. Josies Place is 501 (c)3 rescue in DE, so tax receipts are available.
