Frustrating Job Hunt - many companies / agents really are terrible at the recruiting process. They advertise roles, then no feedback for 5 weeks on short-listing or interviews but still say job is live and you are live. Frustrating. No wonder good candidates get disillusioned, an indicator of what is to come working for them? And with GSM world on in Barcelona this week, nothing will hapen, all the execs will be down their smoozing. But at E$750 just for a basic ticket to get into see booths I wont be bothering. 2000-4000 if you actually want to meet someone useful. Probably better off stalking the pubs and hotels for networking. But the weather is fabulous these last few days in San Sebastian. Oh and I still haven;t been paid one cent, nearly 5 months down the track for the work in Equatorial Guinea - I can feel a social media expose coming on and some confidential info (they never got me to sign an NDA) sent to Amnesty International and Wikileaks.
