Fs:Elias Alexander Morgan One last shout out. I have wanted to be in the military ever since I could speak! My dad would buy me toy air planes and soldiers and at one point when I was little he told me I could name more air craft than his Airmen. When I was about 7-8 I wanted to be a Navy SEAL but realized no matter how much I pushed myself I would not make it. I looked at the Marines and saw something I had not seen in any other branch a brotherhood bonded by a title earned by a certain few, by blood and sweat. I am not saying the Marines are better than any of the branches. My family line has been military for hundreds of years, yes during the civil war we fought for the wrong side but we have always been proud to serve our country. My two great uncles on June 6th 1944 earned medals one earned the bronze and other the silver star. My grandad is a Marine and I want to be just like him. My job will be nothing special, I want to be 0300 (infantryman) no not because I am not smart and no not because I want to kill but because it was my grandads job during the Korean War. My dream of being a Marine is only 4 years away, I am enrolling in NJROTC in my high school and im going to try to get more military training before I go in. I want to make my family proud of me and my country. -queen:)
