Fulbright Scholarships – Grants for Professional Journalists Deadline: NOON on MARCH 1 The Fulbright Journalism Scholarship is meant to foster mutual understanding between the United States and Belgium via journalists, who the Commission believes to be critical supporters of a democratic society. Preference is given to mid-career journalists engaged in print or broadcast journalism who wish to study for a period of three to nine months at an accredited U.S. university. Candidates who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in Journalism will also be considered.
