Full Bulls, PA. Happy Wednesday morning. As we wait and anticipate Bellas Great Escape Video to be posted (we are having some technically difficulty) I would like to explain our reasoning for her Escape. You are correct if you are thinking, Full Bulls is NOT a rescue so why? Full Bulls was founded by a Bully breed loving man, Jim Selter living in surrounding communities where Pits are used for breeding and yes, fighting purposes. Places that need help with adoption, education, training, volunteering, spay and neutering clinics and support for Bully breeds. Statistics prove that shelters/rescues house over 80 percent Pit Bull/Mixes most dont make it out alive. Because of the medias misconception it is getting harder by the day for Pits to get adopted. Most do not show well in kennels so they are passed by, most dont get the daily exercise needed, most dont get the basic training needed in shelters. Reason being shelters are over loaded and grossly understaffed. Unless you have spent an entire day at a shelter and understand the amount of work that needs to be performed saying it is easy work well you would be seriously incorrect. Yesterday, was a huge day for not only Bella but also Full Bulls in that we were entrusted to pull her from a shelter. Trust, is a huge word that must be gained not only by a dog but also within communities. With an experienced Pit Bull owner and Foster, Bella will live in a home environment something so simple but a tremendous step. She will learn boundaries and what it is to play and socialize with other dogs outside the shelter environment. This will change her life entirely and enable her to be adopted quickly. Once Bella has had a chance to chill and be a dog we will be posting the requirements for her perfect forever home. I know there will be few as you can see she is a wonderful loving girl.
