Full Gallop Farm - Thanks you form the bottom of our hearts! We had a wonderful event yesterday! This is why we run events!! The positive feedback has been overwhelming! So many people took the time to thank us and to give us feedback on how wonderful the courses ran, how much they loved the new open areas on XC, how great the farm looked and how smoothly that thought it ran. We owe these wonderful compliments to so many of you! Everything ran so well, the rides were great, all horse and riders came off the course safe and sound. The competitors were all very courteous, polite and patient, in spite of the heat and high humidity. We had more full perfect packets for this event than we have ever had. Almost all riders were checked in the day before and we only had four riders who had to check in on Sunday! You have no idea how much easier this makes our job and we thank all of you!! It was so great to see so many supporters and fiends here competing at the event. So nice to see Kathy Viele, Holly Breaux, Lei Ryan, Beth Huddleston, Betsy Balls group, The Bigtime eventing group, just to name a few. We also appreciate the competitors that traveled a good distance to be here, Andrew McConnons Group, Elinor MacPhail, Leslie Laws group as well as our local competitors! Thank you Gayle Libby Curtiss for a wonderful job announcing!! The courses John Williams And Julie Zapapas Designed had great compliments from the competitors and spectators alike as did the amazing Marc Donovan for his fantastic stadium courses! Willis, Steve and Dan kept the grounds, XC and equipment running like a top. Troubleshooting and fixing issues as soon as there was any indication of a problem. None of what we do here at Full Gallop could even be possible without the help of people I consider my family. We love you all and please know there are no words that can properly convey our appreciation for the time you give and the things you do for us. There are so many of you and if I have failed to mention you, please forgive me because as you are just as important: We had very limited help for set-up during the week and I want to thank Laurie Gilchrist-Wettstone, and Marina Wettstone for all the time they put in. You can thank these guys for all the wonderful colors on the in XC. Laurie is out XC and Stadium jump artist extraordinaire. Thank you Joan Turner-Burden for helping with some of the mowing and Wheeling the courses. Melissa Del Tufo and Kathy Hall for decorating the XC course. Thank you Amy Kaplan for doing anything and everything that was left to be done on Saturday, and for organizing and keeping the barn under control. She is always one of our saviors! Thanks to Alanna Stefanek as well for helping with set-up all week, keeping the horses ridden and helping on event day. Almost every moment she wasnt riding she was doing something to help. :) Thank you Lisa Burch one of boarders of many years who helps out in every way possible. Pamela McNair who after driving in from Nashville helped us with set-up and the horses and picked up the slack when needed, she is one of my rocks! Thank you Bridget Victoria Bott and Megan Stauch for always helping when they are here in any way possible! Thank you Jennifer Maiden Helgren who heads up coordinating volunteers and is my right hand person in running these events! Thank you Tommy Dunn and Margy Bushnell for always coming thru and helping us with dressage set-up and organization even when they are not feeling well or injured. Thank you Muffin Amelia Pantaze and Cindy Deporter for being such helpful and professional officials. Thank you to our accurate and very efficient scoring team - Lori Boddy and Debbie Stefanek you guys were amazing! Thank you Alex Cole and Drew Mason who support almost every event here at Full Gallop for helping with set-up and event prep. They continued to be available and help throughout the weekend. Thanks for becoming a part of the Full Gallop family! No mention of anything that goes on at Full Gallop would be complete without thank this family - These guys are so instrumental at The core of Full Gallop. The Quinn Family: Special mention to Mike Quinn who could not be with us as he usually is due to a deployment in Afghanistan currently. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the sacrifices you and your family make in the name of the USA. We miss you and hope to see you back here soon! Brendan Quinn - who does everything and anything i need help with and is our food cart runner at events. Devin Quinn, who just turned 16, is the stadium crew. He is so good at this job and truly owns it! Chris OHagen Quinn - I am not even sure where to begin to thank this person! Truly special in every way, always the light at the end of the tunnel. She is the person that I can go to for everything and anything! She is incredible beyond words!! She and her family give so much to us. Just when I thought she had covered everything that one person could possibly due, she so hit another one out of the park. She made the most incredible lunch wraps and pasta salad for the volunteers and crew here at Full Gallop for lunch on Sunday. This was unbelievable! There were no left overs this time! Thank you so much!!! A big thank you as well to Megan Stauch, Brendan Quinn, Amy Kaplan, and Shannon Elizabeth for getting Dan and myslf off the farm to actually eat food on the night before the event!! To my husband and best friend Daniel Brown- Thank you for working so hard to make this farm a better place. In addition to the normal works of the farm and event set-up, he worked so hard, most of it on his own, clearing new areas, getting rid of low hanging trees, clearing trees. cleaning debris, preparing footing, fixing jumps and building new ones. Thank you and I love you!! Thanks again everyone - We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the November horse trials and team challenge!! We are also still accepting entries for the combined tests, dressage test of choice and schooling jump rounds this Sunday August 24th. It is also a great opportunity to school the event course that are still set-up from this past weekend. Entry forms available on fullgallopfarm. E-mail or PM me if you are coming. Will will be open for schooling from now until a week before our November event.
